PTMS or Pregnancy Testing Milk Sample as it is known by, is a non-invasive way to accurately test if a cow is pregnant or not. And can be done when you complete a herd test- saving on stressing animals and extra labour requirements.

Laboratory trials have shown that the test to accurately identify 98.7% of pregnant cows.

When making your herd test booking simply request that a pregnancy test is added on- then accurately identify your cows during the herd test & highlight the cows on the paperwork that you wish to be tested and then we will do the rest. You will receive your results in 2-3 business days.

The milk pregnancy test detects pregnancy-associated glycoproteins (PAGs). PAGs are only produced by the placenta when the cow is in calf.
